Situated close to the small town of Denneville with a butcher, grocer and wonderful bakery. A small country market on a Monday morning is available all through summer. Denneville offers numerous activities, including sailing, watersports, golf, and horse riding. Just 7 km to the seaside town of Portbail with further shops, and restaurants serving delicious seafood as well as a weekly market with plentiful local delicacies. Cherbourg, 50 km, is worth a visit with its harbour walls, site of the destroyed château and the Bassins where you can witness the port as it was in the C19th. Historic walks are available through the harbour. The C16th Ravelet-Tourlaville Castle and surrounding landscaped garden are worth visiting. Ferry ports: Cherbourg 50 km, Caen 110 km.
This house is set in an enclosed garden with many mature trees. The terrace with seating area and BBQ is the perfect place to enjoy al fresco dining. External stairs lead to the first floor and the living areas and garden.
Living/dining room with sofa, satellite TV and small dining area. Small fitted kitchen, quite basic with microwave. Bed 1: double with views over the garden. Stairs to the ground floor. Bed 2: single. Bed 3: double sofa-bed and sofa. Sliding doors lead out onto the garden. Bath/shower/WC. This villa even has an exercise room with weights! Pets allowed. Security deposit €400 cash on arrival. Fuel heating: €65 per week. No linen provided please bring your own.
